Post-Treatment Care Instructions for PRP Under-Eye Area
- Avoid touching the treated area for at least 6 hours after the procedure.
- Apply cold compresses to the treated area for 10 minutes every hour for the first 4-6 hours post-treatment to minimize swelling.
- Sleep with your head elevated for the first night to reduce swelling.
- Avoid applying makeup to the treated area for 24 hours.
- Gently cleanse the area with a mild, non-irritating cleanser for the first 72 hours.
- Avoid direct sun exposure and use a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen when outdoors.
- Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water to support the healing process.
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours post-treatment.
- Do not use harsh skincare products (e.g., retinoids, acids) on the treated area for at least 5 days.
- Avoid alcohol consumption for 24 hours after the treatment.
- If prescribed, use any post-treatment creams or ointments as directed by your practitioner.
- Attend all follow-up appointments to monitor your progress and results
